Fabric spreading and cutting

Abstract

This chapter describes fabric cutting to obtain garment components before joining them in a united article. To ensure the best utilisation of raw materials, machinery, time and labour, the cut process is precisely planned using specialised software. Multiple spreading is performed by spreading machines, which provide fabric feeding and transportation, ensure tension free spreading and material cutting in needed length pieces.
