We need to ask ourselves what a financial services industry built by an intersectionally diverse team of people would look like. A team that is made up of women, men and people of other diverse genders and people from different backgrounds. People who represent marginalised communities relating to, e.g., race, religion and lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender – groups of people for whom the inequality gap is the biggest and whose voices have been heard the least. The people who were not involved in the original design.
