The Ghost Reveal
What does it look like?
It’s a moment of revelation when the ghost appears to the audience’s eye, but not to the character.
How’s it done?
It can be done as a practical shot on set, or more commonly, as a CGI effect in post-production.
When should I use it?
When the audience sees the ghost but the character (or at least one of the characters) doesn’t.

Synopsis: On a farm in North Dakota, the Solomon family is torn apart by suspicion, mayhem and murder.
Featured Scene: In the bedroom a mother is making the bed with her toddler watching. When she shakes the sheets, the audience and the toddler see the ghost manifest underneath.
