What does it look like?
This shot puts the camera inside of a person and/or creature’s mouth. The shot usually has teeth in the foreground to emphasize the threat. The shot usually starts on black and opens to reveal a character that is about to be attacked or eaten.
How’s it done?
This shot is a fake prosthetic mouth the camera shoots through on set.
When should I use it?
It works best on creature flicks. Use this shot during moments where you want to see the reaction of the character to the rows of razor sharp teeth.
