What does it look like?
This shot uses the camera to spin around a table during a series of dates with multiple people. It’s very stylized.
How’s it done?
It’s a circular dolly shot that creatively hides the editing when objects pass in front of the frame. It can also be shot in fast motion for added effect.
When should I use it?
It’s best to use this to show a time passage happening in the same location over a period of months. It’s also very effective in showing the frustrated life of a character trying to find that special someone.
