What does it look like?
It’s any shot that shows a human being in a way that dwarfs him compared to a natural disaster or apocalyptic event.
How’s it done?
These shots are always done as CGI and on a grand scale to sell it.
When should I use it?
It’s best to use this shot as much as possible in a disaster sequence to show the massive scale of what is happening. The more the humans are dwarfed compared to what is approaching them the better.
