What does it look like?
It’s a camera viewfinder POV shot that follows a subject in order to take a photo. Once a photo is taken, a still frame shot is created revealing the picture taken to the audience.
How’s it done?
It’s done in post-production by creating a still frame and/or cutting in a photo for artistic effect.
When should I use it?
Use this shot to show a scene or person of interest that is being investigated or spied on.
