It’s any shot where there is action in the foreground and the background and both parts of the frame are split and in focus.
How’s it done?
It’s done by using a split-focus diopter on the lens.
When should I use it?
Use this shot during a pursuit to build suspense. It’s a great way to combine the action and capture the fear on the person’s face in the foreground.
