Danger in a Reflection
What does it look like?
It’s a shot where a character is hiding behind a wall and through a reflection we can see a bad guy approaching.
How’s it done?
It’s done by shooting the reverse action in the reflection.
When should I use it?
Use this shot to show the audience and/or the character the danger that is on the other side of the wall.
Paycheck (2003)
Synopsis: Paid big money by high-tech firms for working on hush-hush projects, computer ace Michael Jennings then has his memory erased for security purposes—which explains why he can’t figure out the reason his most recent employer wants to kill him.
