Whether it is just you and a friend or a large gathering, it is always better to have a reason to be out at the bar versus just going out to go out. If you are in the bar for no apparent reason at all, you really need to take a deep look inside and figure out what you are doing with your life. When it comes to setting the agenda for the evening, you can certainly be the one organizing the events for the evening, but it is better if it is mutually agreed upon by the group.
