In previous chapters, you have created 3D primitive objects in 3ds Max and then edited them with the Edit Mesh modifier or converted them to Editable Mesh geometry; either method offers the same set of tools for editing at subobject level. The basic subobject component of Mesh geometry is a triangular face. You might remember that a collection of triangular faces surrounded by visible white edges is also called a Polygon subobject component.
