8.1 Beyond Black and White

So far, we have learned that microcontrollers think in a digital or binary language of 1s and 0s. In the previous chapter, we learned how digital I/O can unveil a thin layer of external interaction, that allows the LaunchPad to see the world in black and white, experiencing just a single bit at a time. In this chapter, we will take it to the next level and enable the LaunchPad to experience the full spectrum and interact with HIGH and LOW signals and everything in between!
