Preface
In 2010, yours truly started on a new and exciting project at Texas Instruments. The objective was clear: we needed to create a new affordable and easy-to-use microcontroller development platform that can be accessible by thousands of engineers. This is how the MSP430 LaunchPad Evaluation Kit came about. We knew its affordability as well as user-friendliness was very attractive, but the results surpassed even our greatest expectations! After 2 years, our LaunchPads are in the hands of more than a quarter million engineers and students.
