As I have emphasized throughout this book, a report or a deliverable comprises three necessary ingredients, namely graphics, tables, and a narrative. This chapter focuses on generating tables. I illustrate the fundamentals of what you should present in tables. Even more importantly, I explain how you should format and present tables. I reinforce the key lessons illustrated in this chapter throughout the book.
I find it quite strange that most books on statistics and analytics do not dedicate space to the fundamentals of summarizing data in tables. Such books are full of tables.
