Summary

We’ve covered a lot of tools and options in this chapter. Some you will use on most, if not all, of the images you shoot. Depending on your subject matter and the way you shoot, you may not use some of these features at all. If you’re an experienced Photoshop whiz, you may choose to perform some of these edits in Photoshop rather than in Camera Raw. In the next chapter, you’ll see more reasons to move your edits into Camera Raw.

If some of these techniques seem confusing or obtuse, grab some more images and keep playing and experimenting. Many of the tools get easier to understand as you use them more.

Next up: some fancy tricks you can employ to smooth your workflow.
