Monitoring the environment
This chapter describes the tools for monitoring the KVM host hypervisor and KVM-based virtual servers. Although there are commercial tools available, this chapter specifically focuses on open source monitoring tools. In the case of Nagios and sar/systat, these tools are included in the KVM for IBM z Systems and Linux for z Systems distributions.
