In this chapter, we will focus on GCP security and, more specifically, how to secure your GCP environment.
GCP has a built-in security layer that, by default, is designed to give you a good base level of security without extra cost. The default protection helps by doing two things: first, giving a starting point and basic measurements that help protect you from external security risks like DoS attacks; and second, preventing you from making mistakes that can compromise your environment.
