Chapter 3. Workload Profiling and Sizing
So far, we have built a good understanding of VSAN and its types at a high level. Progressing in this chapter, we will discuss generic guidelines pertaining to sizing and profiling of virtual machines.
The guidelines are generalized based on their use, whether they are desktops or servers. The focus of this chapter is on getting the right VSAN composition and capacity based on the workload requirements.
We will discuss the following objectives:

- Types of VSAN and their uniqueness
- Adaption of sizing guidelines on different types of VSAN
