Summary
In this chapter, you learnt the difference between agent-based and agentless monitoring. We then deployed some Microsoft Windows agents and explored different agent installation methods. We discussed how to multihome agents with up to four different Management Groups and then ended the chapter with a walkthrough on deploying agents to UNIX/Linux computers.
In the next chapter, you will learn about Management Packs and their importance within the OpsMgr environment along with gaining an understanding of how to find, import and manage them.
