Tips for Designing and FacilitatingBrainstorming Retreats
Before it was possible to conduct innovation challenges online, they were conducted in face-to-face (FtF) settings known as brainstorming retreats. Online challenges, of course, do not preclude the possibility of FtF retreats. In fact, they sometimes may complement and augment each other. For instance, an organization first might want to conduct an online challenge to generate a large pool of ideas and then narrow them down to the best concepts.
