IN THE COLUMN on the left, find the twelve jobs that you found the most exciting when you participated in the One Hundred Jobs exercise in chapter 4. Give one point to each of the basic interest areas that appear in the column to the right of each of your twelve choices. Add up the number of points for each of the ten basic interest areas to determine your top two or three “personal high” deeply embedded life interests. If you have several ties or close scorings that indicate more than two or three personal highs, go back to chapter 5 and read the sections relevant to each of these interest areas and determine which two or three are truly most important to you.
