JOHN WU didn’t fit anyone’s stereotype of a Harvard Business School student. He was, for starters, a Baptist minister and, at thirty, had spent his entire career in nonprofit organizations. Even so, John had a clear agenda for what friends saw as his unpredictable decision to come to business school.
