4.1 Introduction to Geospatial Analysis
In Chapter 1, we explained analysis as that which an analyst does. Our goal here is to set out some working categories for the types of analyses that can be accomplished using Geographic Information System (GIS), and relate these categories to the types of questions that can be answered using geospatial data and techniques.
