DENISE RETURNED TO her desk from her first-shift coaching session with Mark. Her head was still spinning from dinner with Maggie. So much to digest. So much to learn.
Denise had followed Maggie’s advice, convincing David to train alongside her as “second coach.” He coached Denise on her coaching. Of course, he was nowhere near knowledgeable or skilled enough to play this role, but David’s time constraints, or more likely his ego, would not allow him to be subservient to Denise in any way.
