DENISE LOOKED ON her watch, 8:10, just 20 minutes to go. She needed to get ready for the project team kickoff. And she needed to talk to Mark about his new role. That would have to wait until her lunch break. Good thing I stashed some low-carb protein bars in my desk drawer, she thought.
