Mitigating Risk and Measuring Success
Abstract
This chapter covers how supply chain security data is analyzed and how intelligence gathering is used in order to help meet the strategic goals of businesses and government. By acknowledging complexity in the supply chain the process of supply chain risk mitigation is easier to map out. Several sources of risk are discussed and a model for disruption management is outlined. In terms of measuring success a game theoretic approach is used to highlight how cooperation may be achieved among the critical players.
