Abstract:

South Asian organizations are gradually adopting CSR activities that focus on philanthropic and moral obligations. In particular, regulatory pressures have served as a major influence in helping them conform to basic global standards. Several industry associations are also playing a proactive role in creating awareness for CSR practices among their member organizations.
