Gmail is a nice-looking service, certainly functional for most users. That said, you might want to personalize the way Gmail looks and the way it works for your personal needs. Fortunately, Gmail offers various ways to customize what you see onscreen.
Configuring Inbox Tabs
The first thing you can customize about the Gmail inbox page is which tabs you see. As you know, Gmail organizes incoming messages into content-based tabs; you can opt to display as many as five tabs or as few as a single tab. Follow these steps:
