WATCHKEEPING RECEIVERS

The Controls and Usage of the 2182 kHz Watch Receiver

ON/OFF switch may be combined with the Volume (Gain) control.
Lamp illuminated when equipment switched ON.
MUTE prevents background noise, static, etc when ON.
TEST simulates reception of Radiotelephone Alarm signal.
RESET resets receiver to watchkeeping mode with MUTE on RESET
USAGE receiver is tuned to 2182 kHz, normally with MUTE on. The receiver is activated and its gain will automatically increase, when the Radiotelephone Alarm signal is received.
