So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Natural Language Generation
English language generation in VOTE concentrates on the two major elements in the program: stances and relations. Relations are found in the MEMBER database, while stances occur throughout the VOTE databases: ISSUE, BILL, GROUP, MEMBER, and DECISION.
The issue of child care provides an illustration of many aspects of VOTE’s natural language generation facility. Here we see output generated for the child-care issue, such as found in appendix C.
