Learning to Learn

My first boss John Kennedy had a trait I’d never really experienced in the workplace: gravitas, that combination of confidence, integrity, expertise, and what today we call emotional intelligence. He was respected because he was respectful. While kind, he could also be quite frank if you weren’t performing up to his standards.
