Chapter 5: Implementing Hybrid Connectivity in GCP
In this chapter, you will implement hybrid interconnection between on-premises and Google Cloud networks using different approaches. You will learn how to configure Dedicated Interconnect with Google Cloud colocation facilities, as well as how to configure Partner Interconnect with both Layer 2 and Layer 3 connections. Furthermore, the chapter focuses on classical virtual private networks (VPNs) and high-availability (HA) VPNs, site-to-site Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) VPN implementations, and how dynamic routing can be used in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Additionally, the chapter will focus on an IPsec VPN implementation to improve HA in hybrid connectivity.
