Finding Friends from Your Contacts

To boost the number of people in your Circles, use your contacts to quickly automate the process of adding people. This can save you from spending time searching for friends manually, and it is a great way to fill up your Circles.

You can add contacts from Yahoo! or Hotmail, or you can upload the information from a file exported from a program that contains your contacts (such as Outlook or Address Book).

Click the Circles icon and then click Find people to start looking for friends. When you start, Google+ displays a message saying You don’t have anyone in your circles . . . yet!, as shown in Figure 4-3.
