GPS, GIS, and Google Earth
Abstract
This chapter introduces the reader to geographic information system (GIS), global positioning system (GPS), and how data from units using these technologies can be imported into Google Earth. We will also discuss how geographic information can be added to digital images, and how Google Earth can be used to identify the location of where the photos were taken..
