You have already developed map-enabled web pages and you know how to manipulate a map from within the page’s script by programming the basic objects of the Google Maps API. In this chapter, you learn how to embed a Google map in a Windows application. The information in this chapter will help you design desktop applications that exploit all the functionality of Google Maps and at the same time take advantage of the rich user interface (UI) of Windows applications.
