3. Securing Your Nexus 7
You can use the Nexus 7’s security features to protect your data from co-workers, thieves, cops, spouses, lawyers, busybodies, governments, and other snoops.
Setting the Screen Lock
You can set an automatic screen lock to prevent other people from accessing your Nexus 7. If you set a lock, you must unlock your tablet each time you power on or wake it (see “Powering On and Off” in Chapter 1).
Tip
To change when your tablet goes to sleep, tap Settings > Display > Sleep.
To set the screen lock
1. Tap Settings > Security > Screen Lock.
2. Tap the type of lock you want , and follow the onscreen instructions.
