Chapter 7. Cloning Objects
Cloning objects and entities is easy and can be done in a number of ways including the Cut, Copy, and Paste commands. You can also clone objects using the Move/Copy tool.
Using the Cut, Copy, and Paste Commands
Perhaps the most intuitive way to clone an object is with the Cut, Copy, and Paste commands. These commands are found in the Edit menu. Choose Edit
After copying an object to the clipboard, choose Edit
There is also a Paste in Place command that you can use to place the copied object in the exact place from where it was copied.
Cut, Copy, and Paste entities
In addition to objects, the Cut, Copy, and Paste commands can also be used to duplicate entities. To duplicate an entity, simply select the entity and use the commands just as you would for duplicating an object.
