Chapter 5. Searching for Financial Information

While Google is primarily a search engine, not a financial information site, that’s starting to change. Google has always let you search for financial information from its main search page, and now is offering even more financial information via the Google Finance site. While I’m not completely sure that Google Finance can replace a big full-service financial information site, such as Bloomberg.com (www.bloomberg.com) or MarketWatch (www.marketwatch.com), it offers more than enough information for the casual investor—and serves as a gateway to even more information on the Web.
