Everybody has an email account—at least one. You probably have a home email account from your Internet service provider (perhaps with additional addresses for your spouse and kids), as well as a work email account. Chances are you also have a web-based email account from Windows Live Hotmail or Yahoo! Mail, as either a backup or just to have it.
So why, then, would you want yet another email account? And from Google, of all places?
