Chapter 32. Using the Google Toolbar

Believe it or not, I seldom use Google’s website—even though I search with Google a dozen or more times a day. That’s because you don’t have to go to the Google site to use Google search. If you have the Google Toolbar installed in your web browser, you can conduct all your searches from the Toolbar’s search box, so there’s no need to open the Google web page.

Even better, the Google Toolbar provides a wealth of direct shortcuts to some of Google’s most popular functions and services. If you’re a big Google user, installing the Google Toolbar is a must; it will save you a ton of time.
