Modifying Code That Doesn’t Exist

We put on our customer hat, and, after getting over our shock at how fast you got this much done, we found the following issues with these views:

• List view:

  • The Grails logo, while very cool, is not the logo we had in mind for TekDays.

  • What’s with the order of the columns? We would prefer to see Name, City, Description, Organizer, Venue, and so on.

• Create view:

  • The logo and field order issues apply here too.

  • There is not enough room in the Description field to enter any meaningful content.

  • The date inputs allow for far too wide a range of years—we’re not going to be putting on events in the year 1913.

Some of these issues will have to wait until we generate code that we can modify.^[20] Currently ...
