Summary and Comments
I have tried my best in this book to simplify a confusing topic in a holistic manner. It is not a simple topic, so some level of deep dive was necessary. Most people are perplexed when they are in a discussion about nanomaterials. Outside the scientific community, people tend to take the news hype at face value. The high end applications disclosed on the news give the viewer the impression that he/she will soon be driving a car stronger than any material known, or be wearing a shirt as thin as silk that will be bulletproof, monitor his vitals and email any abnormalities directly to his/her doctor, etc. While prototypes of such gadgets may be around, reality is starkly different.
