The Hiring Proposal
IT IS ESSENTIAL to stay in touch with the hiring authority on a continuing basis after the interview. Be professional. The important thing to do during the follow-up stage is to reinforce and strengthen your image while keeping your candidacy at the forefront. Be aware of the fine line between remaining in contact and becoming a nuisance. Do not step over it, although that is hard to do. A watch may measure a job seeker’s time frame, while that of the hiring authority is measured on a calendar.
