Great Work is the result of more than three years of research and interviews with academic advisors, business executives, award-winning employees, and difference makers conducted by members of the O.C. Tanner Institute. In addition, we learned from the writings of many authors, researchers, biographers, historians, reporters, and thought leaders who confirmed or enriched our findings on great work—some of whom were quoted in the text.
