Scientists (primarily physical and biological) have been developing a description of evolving anthropogenic environmental trends that are completely new to human experience. The facts regarding these emerging ecological crises are so stark and disturbing that it is difficult to present them in a college classroom without leaving the students in a blue funk with a collective “doomster” outlook.
