Our identities as filmmakers are often strongly – and inextricably – linked to the brand of our films. Reservoir Dogs is Quentin Tarantino. Robert Rodriquez is Sin City and From Dusk Til Dawn. Clerks is Kevin Smith. The Brothers McMullan is Ed Burns. And, The Blair Witch Project is Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez. It’s almost impossible to think of any of these filmmakers and not also think of their films. And vice versa.
