William Shakespeare once wrote that “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.” I can think of few instances in which this quote is more appropriate than the production of an independent film. Depending upon the situation and whom you are speaking to, you may be required to play the role of producer, director, screenwriter, fundraiser, marketing manager, publicist, salesman (or sales woman) or any one of dozens of other roles.
