Action – The fourth and final step of the AIDA model in which an audience member takes action, typically in the form of a film or merchandise rental, purchase or other brand engagement.
Advertising – The process of using paid announcements to increase an audience’s awareness and interest in a particular film, filmmaker or cross- or trans-media product. These announcements are commonly in the form of print ads, banner ads, teaser and trailer campaigns and other paid messages via traditional and/or new media channels.
Advertising Medium – Any communication channel which is used as a vehicle for advertisements, including direct mail, email, websites, social media, television, radio and periodicals (newspapers and magazines), etc.
