One corporate leitmotiv states that “digital transformation is not a project but a journey.” Point taken. But the Oxford Learner’s Dictionary defines a journey as “an act of traveling from one place to another, especially when they are far apart.”1 By now, we’ve been digitally transforming our organizations for over a decade, so we get the “far apart” bit. But what about the destination? Is there an end to this journey?
