While we are early in the journey to apply artificial intelligence (AI), there is no turning back. Instead, it’s about moving forward with plans to harness its power. It’s about having a societal discussion that creates pathways for AI to do good while building appropriate guardrails to keep it from running amok.
Doing so allows us to embrace healthcare’s future with imagination and a sense of hope for genuine change and reform.
